Gridinsoft False Positive: How to Fix a Low Website Reputation Score
To dispute a Gridinsoft false positive, the domain owner fills in the False Positive Request form on the Gridinsoft Reputation Checker Portal. No account is needed. Enter your details, the domain and why it is a false positive, then click the confirmation link emailed to you; the ticket is not created until you do. Gridinsoft states no response time. Free requests are for owners, not agencies.

What a Gridinsoft flag looks like
A low trust score and a "suspicious" or "dangerous" rating on the domain's public report page in Gridinsoft's Website Reputation Checker. These report pages can rank in Google for the domain name, for searches like "is example.com safe". Gridinsoft's engine also shows its URL verdict on VirusTotal.
Why clean sites end up flagged here
- Malware or phishing detections: the checker's stated inputs include malware and phishing detections and blocklist status.
- The domain is listed on another blocklist. Gridinsoft says strong negative indicators can cap the maximum score, so one listing can hold the score down.
- A past compromise that has been cleaned, but whose detections were recorded before the cleanup.
- A new or little-known domain with few positive signals, which an automated score can rate as suspicious (our reading; Gridinsoft does not say this).

Account: None.
What it asks for:
- About you: "I represent this domain" or "I am a visitor reporting an issue"
- First Name
- Last Name
- Your Email
- Company
- Phone
- Domain
- Why is this a false positive?
- Submit with "Send confirmation link", then click the link in that email; the ticket is not created until you do
Use the portal form, not a support ticket. Gridinsoft's support article says website reputation disputes go through the portal. Remove passwords, tokens and session IDs from anything you paste.
Step by step
- Check the current rating. Enter the domain in the free Website Reputation Checker and note the rating (clean, suspicious or dangerous) and the trust score. Check whether the domain is also on other blocklists; clearing those first helps the score.
- Clean up and collect evidence. If the site was compromised or hosted something flagged, remove it, and keep evidence that the site was cleaned or secured. Gridinsoft's support article asks for the full affected URL or domain, the current classification, why it is wrong, and that evidence.
- File it yourself, as the owner. Open the False Positive Request form and choose "I represent this domain". Gridinsoft's terms cover free review requests from owners and operators, including employees, and it may ask for proof of the relationship. Paid delisting services and agencies are not covered by the free service.
- Confirm the email link. The form's button is "Send confirmation link": it emails you a link, and the ticket is not created until you click it. Check the spam folder if it does not arrive.
- File once and re-check. Do not resubmit. Gridinsoft's terms say duplicate, automated or bulk requests may be consolidated, rate-limited or returned. Re-check the public report page and reanalyze on VirusTotal if its Gridinsoft verdict was the issue.
What to write
Short, specific, impersonal. What was found, what was removed, when, and how it was verified. No marketing language, no attachments, no threats.
Domain: {domain}
I represent this domain as {role, e.g. owner / site operator at company name}.
Current classification: {rating and trust score shown on the Website Reputation Checker page}.
Why it is a false positive: {Either: 'The site was cleaned on {date}: {what was removed or secured}.' Or: 'The site is {one-line description of what the site is} and has not hosted malware or phishing.'}
Evidence: {link or description, with no passwords, tokens or session IDs}.
Please re-evaluate the domain. Why requests get rejected, and the fix
- The confirmation link in the email was never clicked, so no ticket was created. Look for the confirmation email, including spam, click the link, or submit the form again once.
- The request came from a third party or a paid delisting service rather than the owner. File it as the owner or operator of the domain. Gridinsoft's terms say commercial intermediaries need a separate prior agreement.
- No evidence the site was cleaned or secured. Say what was removed or fixed and when, with the full URL and the classification being disputed.
- Duplicate or bulk submissions. Submit one request per domain. Gridinsoft's terms say such requests may be consolidated, rate-limited or returned.
Who copies this verdict
- Gridinsoft's public Website Reputation Checker, including its latest-reports list, shows the rating.
- VirusTotal shows Gridinsoft's URL verdict as one of its engines.
